We have had a busy few months, spent a week in Lincoln City at my parents beach house for our anniversary. We went and played at the beach each day plus a day spent at the Newport Coast Aquarium. Analise loved the fishes, sea otters, and spending time with her cousins.

When we came back to klamath falls the fair was going on so we thought we would give it a try since Analise loves most animals. Well to say the least it did not work. While Analise does still love animals having so many in one place making very loud squealing noises and the huge pigs that got loose she clung to Jesse most of the time. We did have fun in the children's area playing in the water and corn.

We are still waiting to settle on the last house we bought as they decided not to move a week before we were to move in. So for now we take it day to day and I drive Jesse crazy cleaning/nesting in a apartment that we have no place to unpack or move anything around. I am 27 weeks pregnant now and so far things are going good. I have lots of doctor appointments each week with several different doctors as they are keeping a close eye on things. We had a regular ultrasound that showed a little boy who is very active, then a follow up ultrasound due to the doctor thinking something was wrong with the heart and it was still a boy then too. It is our hot time of year so we spend lots of time in Analise wadding pool and eating popsicles.

Yes it is hard to believe we are quickly approaching having a 2 year old for a child. Analise has grown up so much in the last few months. The last few months have been rather busy, I took a fall in early April which hurt my back enough that I could not walk for a few weeks. So Jesse took Analise and I to Eugene first to be cared for by my grandparents and then they took us onto Salem and there we stayed for about 6 weeks. It was a long time to spend away from Jesse and home but was so grateful to have family willing to help out and take care of Analise for me so I could rest. We quickly were spoiled by the fact of having so much family near by and Analise always had a cousin to play with. Her cousins also taught her how eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which I am thrilled about. She would never touch one before which made quick lunches not so quick.

Since I have been home settling back into regular life we have bought a house (pending the final inspections this week) and so will be finally moving around July 5th into a real home where I can finally unpack boxes and Analise can have a yard to run in. It has been a long year in this tiny apt with most of our things being stored still in madras. We do still have the house in Culver also but have great friends renting it so we are just going to wait and see what happens there.

Some changes for Analise, she talks constantly and has a mind of her own. My dad thought it funny while we were in Salem saying I am getting paid back for my behavior as a kid. She is a go getter which is sometimes a bad thing. Such as last night she was ready to brush her teeth while I was still picking up her bedroom so she went into the bathroom got her toothbrush and started brush. Now normally I would love that she took the initiative to get ready for bed herself if I did not walk into the bathroom and realize she was dipping her toothbrush into the toilet and sucking it off since the sink was not on :o)

Summer weather is finally here so we have been spending most of our time at the park and feeding the ducks at Klamath lake. Jesse is still loving his job. June 1st will be his first year done so he has been busy testing on various subjects, and getting lots of overtime lately also. Well hope this gets everyone caught up a bit. Blogging will be much easier now as Jesse got me a laptop for mother's day so we finally have a working computer at home.

18 month's

Analise had her 18 month old well child check yesterday. We are finally caught up on shots after getting behind while moving. There is a lack of doctors in general for klamath falls so we were on a waiting list for quite awhile but we found a great pediatrician who is fantastic with kids. Her current stats are 34.75 inches tall (98%) and 25.2 lbs (50%). Analise has actually been consistently losing weight since she turned 1. We expected a bit as she is a lot more active now but something the doctor wants to keep on eye on. And we do feed her tons for those who are wondering, she can eat all day long and and is blessed with her father's metabolism.

Analise is a bit behind on talking but I guess kids that are around more then one language take a little longer to start putting words together. She still uses a bit of Spanish (from her old daycare) and sign, and jibberish. Our most common word right now is "whats that". Everything gets pointed at and asked what it is. She also loves turning lights on and off while saying bright/dark.

When Jesse is at work she will get my cell phone and call da da many time a day to keep him up to date on what we are doing, whether of not she actually dials him doesn't slow her talking down at all.

Analise has also learned to climb out of her crib. We were expecting this some day just not at 14 months old. It was quite entertaining though to be mostly asleep then here Jesse yell as Analise was trying to climb up on his side of the bed at about 2am. So nighttime is a daily struggle since she is still too young to understand to stay in bed.

We spent Christmas with both sides of our family. First we went to madras and stayed with Dana and Aaron for 5 days. We had a great time catching up with everyone and spending lots of time playing in the snow. Then on Christmas day we went to eagle crest to join my parents, Ryan, heather and their 3 boys for a few days. Analise still in not into unwrapping presents so her daddy helped on most. So far I think her favorite toy was the baby that we carry around all the time saying "shshsh baby". Here are some pictures of both gatherings.

Way too long of time off..

So I seem to have forgotten to keep up with this blog. Or maybe the fact the every time we get snow/rain/wind here the Internet does not work which would be everyday since we moved here in October.
Things are going great, Jesse still loves his job and I love the fact there is so much overtime right now, not to have him gone but for our saving for a house project. Analise and I stay at home and play all day. We have our daily schedule set of going to the gym every morning for 2 hours, Analise loves the playroom/daycare there and I get some alone/workout time each day. We also attend the story time at the library once or twice a week. On Saturday's they bring the "canine angels" dogs so the kids can play with the dogs and the dog owners read stories.

We are still looking for a house. We originally had bought one in December only to find out a few weeks later that the bank had lost some important paperwork such as the deed so now we are still waiting for that to get figured out. We had looked at lots of other houses but none that fit our style, family and ability to have guests come and visit so for now we wait.

Thursday was my last day of work and Analise and I moved to klamath Falls to join Jesse. Our new apt is very small around 700 square feet so not a whole lot of room for our things. Analise is loving the stairs to climb up and down, having her crib and toys back and most of all being with her Daddy. I have spent the last few days unpacking and trying to find room for some things most will just stay in boxes as there is no closets here. Jesse got off work this morning and we went exploring around town, to the library, and of course Walmart for the odds and ends things. Here are some before and after pictures of the apt. I would say come and visit us but I have no idea where we would put another person :o)

Also during our week in Salem we took advantage of my parents new beach house and went to Lincoln city for a few days. Our time there was so relaxing and we walked the beach a few times, went to the outlet mall for some shopping, and our to lunch for Jesse's birthday. Analise did not like the sand at all. She was fine sitting in it until she went to crawl and her hands touched the sand then the screaming began.

While we have had many parties now for Analise's first birthday since Jesse was working on the actual birthday. She had an early party with Great Grandparents Ray and Shirley, and Grandma Dana since Jesse was actually home so the cupcake pictures are from that. Then in October we went to Salem and had a big family party. Analise had so much fun just watching everyone and climbing the stairs a new skill. She did not want to attempt to open present yet so Daddy took over for her. She got so many cool things that we are enjoying daily. This year has been certainly very full and we love every minute of it. We are also able to celebrate Jesse's 29th birthday and meet our new cousin and nephew Logan Gabriel.

This will be mainly pictures as someone is having problems staying asleep for her nap and my computer time.. These pictures are our trip to the Lincoln city beach, Jesse's graduation from fire training at Kingsley Air base were he now works, Analise having her usual bedhead, our first attempt at letting Analise feed herself out of a bowl, and riding her horse that BaPa (grandpa hunt) made her. Early 10 month anniversery

So this is a little early but gotta get blogging while I have the time since Jesse is here entertaining Analise from helping me type on the computer. Lets see in the last two months Analise has gotten 3 teeth, starting crawling and eating everything in sight. She has such a personality and really knows what she wants. So far the words we know or recognize is mama, dada, and grandpa (bapa).

Due to being short on time when finally get Analise picked up and home from work we usually do a combo dinner and bath in the kitchen sink that way while she is playing I get to unpack and repack all the bags for the next day. Thus the pictures with spinach (which she loves) all over the face. We picked up a little pool at walmart for some kitchen swimming time for our afternoon cool off when it is 90+ outside and no A/C.

Since Jesse has moved out we have hit a rough patch with sleeping. Analise goes to bed great but ends up waking up every 1-2 hours all night long screaming. So I take full advantage on the every other weekend that Jesse comes home to catch up on my sleep. Hopefully this is just a stage and will pass soon.

Jesse has settled into Klamath Falls and still loves his new job, even the required gym time each day and is getting in great shape. He has 3 more weeks of training then goes onto a shift schedule. On July 26th will be our two year anniversary (maybe something fun will be planned hint hint Jesse). It is hard to believe all that has happened in the last two years but I would not change a thing.

K-falls and 7 months

Analise has turned 7.5 months old and still has no teeth or shows any signs of crawling but is cute as can be :o) She "talks" all the time I guess taking after her mommy, and shows lots of facial expressions while talking to really make her point. We are enjoying early spring with some yard work and getting some spring cleaning done. Jesse finished making Analise a toy shelf which she has tried out and loved. And her dress collection is growing thanks to grandma hunt and her sewing skills.

Jesse has gotten a new job in Klamath Falls and will be moving there by June 1st to start work for the Kingsley air field fire department. We are actually in K-falls right now spending the day looking for apartments to rent for the next year for Jesse to live in while Analise and I stay in Culver and try to sell our current house. Noah and Javan made Jesse a fire truck cake to celebrate his new job.

6 months +

Well this is a little late but we have had some exciting events of late. Analise ended up getting RSV which meant a long week of trying to keep her medicated, nebulized, and eating well enough to stay out of the hospital and we made it!!! She is on the mend now and doing so much better we just need to chunk up again as she lost most of her extra fat stores during this time. Throughout the whole time of looking so sad she was still the happy baby.

Another accomplishment is Analise is sitting up alone and can go to rolling both ways then sitting again. I think we need to get on with baby proofing the house here soon before she surprises us with crawling one day. We had her 6 month birthday complete with a cake from Grandma Dana, a short vacation to Salem for Jesse's fire conference week where we intended on visiting all the family but ended up with all getting sick instead. My friend Stephanie and I took Analise, Javan, and her two boys to the Portland zoo one day, which was cold but a lot of fun.

Jesse has gone back to school this week at COCC as the fire station decided to send him back to school to get his paramedic degree. This means over the next 1.5 years he will be extra busy with school and still working full time so us girls will just have to stick together. I am sure a lot more has happened I will try to update more often.

Lots of firsts

Well so far we have started eating rice cereal and attempted green beans which got a horrible face and spit out everywhere, went on our first train trip to visit Aunt Margaret and Uncle David in Olympia Washington, try to sit up on our own, roll and turn circles when on the floor and had our first cold that turned into a lung infection which Analise nicely shared with mom and dad too, gone up a size in diapers, up two sizes in clothes (12 month now), grown 3 more inches, and laugh so many times a day at nothing :o) Wow I guess a lot has happened in the last few months, maybe I should update this more often.

Time flies...

Well I had planned to post this when she turned two months old but a few weeks late :o) Time has flown it seems still like yesterday when we were waiting a long three days at the hospital wondering if she would ever be born.

We (Grandma Dana and I) survived the two month checkup and shots :o( I work for the pediatrician that Analise sees so we are blessed that Dana who is watching Analise on Thursday's is willing to bring her to her doctor appointments. Analise weighed in at 12 lbs and 8oz and just over 24 inches long. She is really gaining some chubbiness. She drooled and smiled plenty for the Dr and impressed him with her head holding and trying to sit up skills, until the five needles came. Then she screamed until she turned purple for quite awhile. I was expecting to have a fussy baby for the next few days but instead she slept for about 2 days straight, even with no Tylenol, I was impressed. We are very blessed to have such an easy baby who rarely cries, sleeps 7 hours at night, and is very healthy.

Analise does have a new talent which the first few times we were going to forgive but not now it is documented for life. Pooping in the tub multiple times each night seems to be fun. We have tried baths at different times of the day, after she already had a dirty diaper it does not work so instead we just take pictures. Another thing we realized is she loves mirrors and will look in them for hours, I put her chair in our bathroom and I am able to get ready, clean things up and get all our bags packed for work and she is still sitting there just talking away. My Grandma Hunt got her another mirror for the crib so now she falls asleep and wakes up talking too.

Dedication Day

Last Sunday we had Analise dedicated at church and had the opportunity to have my parents, sister and nephews come and play for the weekend. So here is a few pictures of our weekend fun. I am getting ready to head back to work this next week and not looking forward to it at all. I have really enjoyed staying home and getting to play every day. Analise is 6 weeks old now and starting to smile, talk, and laugh a lot, she is really an easy baby to please and still is sleeping great with the exception of two nights but she did have a bit of congestion going on also. She has also learned how to become the poop explosion queen, we have gotten the bathtub many times, changing table, wall, and the new clean diaper before it was all the way attached :o) If this continues we might have to post some pictures of our new talent.

2 Weeks already

Wow two weeks have already gone by and life has really changed. Analise had a bit of a scare with some incredibly high jaundice levels so spent 8 days in a bili blue light bed 24/7. She was only allowed out for a quick feeding, diaper change and our daily hospital visit for yet another blood draw. We survived these long days and nights although I admit I nearly had a breakdown everyday knowing I was taking her to the hospital each day were she would be poked by yet another needle.

At our two week checkup she was almost back to birth weight weighing in at 9lbs 3oz and had already grown 2 inches to be 22 3/4 now. Yep, I think she is taking after her daddy and new name will be string bean :o) I was wondering how she had outgrown so many of her clothes already we are into 3-6 months for the length in things with feet. Another trait we have found to be just like daddy is our hair, our rather uncontrolled hair. No matter how much you paste it down her it always pops right back up.

Analise Grace St. John

Well this is only a few weeks late but Analise was finally born on Thursday night September 17 2009 at 702 pm. She was 9lbs 4 oz and 20 3/4 inches. We were admitted to the hospital early Tuesday morning due to my blood sugars going too high and Analise was starting to show some distress from this happening. The plan was to induce labor and have a baby that day. Well apparently my body decided to take the hard route once again. No matter what they tried to induce it did not work. All the medications would produce lovely, perfect contractions for a few hours then just stop no matter how much they increased the medications. Needless to say Jesse and I had much fun during the three days we had so many doctors racking their brains trying to figure out how to get the baby out without doing a c-section. We had finally decided to go for a c-section instead on Thursday afternoon as I was getting a little worn out from being in having contractions every 3-5 mins day and night. But then Analise decided to surprise us and arrived 3 hours after that. So the whole experience was not fun but well worth it when we saw her.

We had known that she would have some complications from the diabetes and prior ultrasounds so were not surprised when she was whisked away. They had to pump out her stomach to place a feeding tube in order to stabilize her blood sugars, and had to draw blood every 30 mins to test her levels. She was and still is a real trooper though. Even now when we have to do sugar and jaundice checks she hardly cries. We got to leave the hospital on Saturday afternoon and come home to my parents help for the weekend. Grandma got to rock, bathe, feed and spoil her new granddaughter while Grandpa installed a pellet stove and I got a much needed nap :o)

Ethan and Analise

Well this last two weeks has been eventful and God has shown that he has a plan even if we do not agree with it.

Most everyone knows that Heather and I were due a few weeks apart, she had a beautiful baby boy on Aug 23rd at 4lbs 6 oz and he went to heaven the same day. Jesse and I were able to make it for the birth and I am so glad we got to spend time with Heather and family saying hello and goodbye to Ethan Cole Austin. He made a huge impact on our lives and not by just his huge feet (what side of the family did those come from). Ethan got to take his first heavenly breath and be with Jesus sooner then any of us and he will be waiting to show his family all the fun events in heaven as we get there.

As for our baby news, Analise is doing good so far a special ultrasound on Monday showed that she has gained a little weight to be around 6 pounds right now but her lungs are still not ready so the doctor would like to see another two weeks before delivering. So we are just playing the waiting game. Part of me wants to be done with all this as the uncomfortable stage is setting in, especially with sleeping but the other part I want her to have the best chance possible and if that means I have the same gestation as an elephant we will do that.

We finally finished putting her room together and also Heather let us borrow a cradle that my dad fixed up for Ethan so we can keep Analise close by for the first few weeks until I am ready to have her five feet down the hall :o)

So this has been a week of many tears, questions and acceptance. Someday when we get to heaven maybe all our questions will be answered to why things happened and maybe this is just to teach us further that God has a plan for our lives even if we do not agree or understand.
